This new documentary tells the little-known story of Norfolk’s Muslim Community, which was founded in the 1970s by a small group of British-born converts to Islam.

With roots in London, the community has grown internationally with branches today reaching as far as South Africa, Mexico and Russia.

This film has been produced by a team of young researchers, the children of the early founders of this unique community. Follow their journey as they uncover their heritage and explore the impact of Islam in Norfolk.

The event will begin with an introduction to the project by Sean Whyte and members of the Production Team, followed by the first official showing of the documentary.

Project managed by CMedia, with funding support from Heritage Lottery Fund.
