Celebrating 20 years of Dogfish, and hot off the back of their last Plugg event at OPEN which saw Gilles Peterson tear the roof down, the guys have pulled out the stops and secured a line up that cements The Plugg as an event that Norwich has been crying out for!

An international star in the making, ONRA touches down amongst great anticipation for this gig at OPEN. After his critically acclaimed breakthrough LP, Long Distance, crazy momentum has been growing for his impeccable sound, if you’ve not yet checked the new EP Deep In The Night then make sure you do so ASAP. We can’t wait for his futuristic mix of hip hop, nu disco and 80’s pop to collide on the dancefloor when the Parisian beatmaker hits Norwich for the first time.

Even Q-Tip is down with him

Submotion Orchestra come with a reputation as one of the most interesting and original projects to emerge from the UK today. Touching on dubstep, soul, ambient electronica, jazz and dub, their unique sound drifts from delicate and heavy to spacious, dense and highly atmospheric. Earth shaking bass, lush keyboards and trumpets create a perfect bed for the fragile vocals from Ruby Wood. With rave reviews from everyone up to Gilles Peterson and a string of festival gigs at The Big Chill, Lattitude, Outlook and Bestival under their belt, Norwich is blessed to have them landing on our doorstep. This gig will be the bomb!

Support comes from Patrizio Cavaliere (feat. Rabo De Foguete) and the SHhhh! Collective DJs hold things down in the club room.

The Plugg is brought to you by the guys and girls at Dogfish/Catfish and Sevenwolves, in partnership with Stussy, Carharrt and Future Radio 107.8FM.
